SO, it turns out that you guys are all geniuses! Like you didn’t know that already. The “Scarlet Letter” conundrum has been resolved. I skipped the first chapter and from then on I was fine. I finished it last night. I do have to say though, that even after finishing the rest of that book, which I actually enjoyed for the most part, going back and reading that first chapter still put me to sleep. So thanks guys, one minor thing off my bucket list now.

I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that you still have a chance to win a copy of Carmen Stefanescu’s book “Shadows of the past” by commenting on the post HERE  and sharing it with your favorite social media outlet. The giveaway will only be on for a few more days!  You can also get an ‘authorgraph’ from Carmen if you do win a copy. For all of those who haven’t heard about authorgraph yet, it is a great promo tool for authors and a lot of fun for readers. I will be putting a post up about it soon.

I also have a writing contest going which I am still accepting entries for: You can find out more here

Coming up on Saturday I will have an interview with Erin Reese, who has spent much time traveling through India and has written a book called “the Adventures of Bindi Girl”  (I travel vicariously through my guests:)

Tomorrow my little guys turn three years old, so I won’t be around much. (In other words I am going to give you a break from checking your email on account of me) WHATS UP WITH ALL THE CHEERING? Come on guys, be reasonable. So I would like to wish my handsome little men both a happy birthday! Here they are  Bandon Daniel and Aspen Jericho! Naturally I can’t find a picture of them where they are not covered in some unidentifiable substance. Boys!
